IIt is hard to say which of them was more famous: the legendary American dancer Isadora Duncan or the great Russian poet Sergei Yesenin. They had almost nothing in common, they didn't even speak the same language. But nevertheless, from their first meeting they were deeply attracted to each other. Their relationship was turbulent and unstable. As usual, the passion of two extraordinary people turned into drama.
He is 26, for him there is only one language - Russian and he feels comfortable only in his native land.
She is 44, she speaks English, German, French and considers herself a citizen of the world.
Their romance "in spite of" did not last long, but the memory of it is still alive. Historians and art experts try to understand the motives behind their actions, and writers and playwrights create touching works dedicated to their love.
